Our mission is to stimulate interest, provide education and enable the exchange of information among Delray Beach area orchid lovers.
Established in 1974 by a handful of enthusiastic orchid hobbyist's, we have grown to include interesting and expert guest speakers, an annual orchid auction, holiday party, outings and our renowned orchid show in October. The orchid show is held in downtown Delray Beach and over 3,000 people attend.
Our members include beginners, orchid hobbyists and expert growers. Some of our members have as few a 3 beautiful specimens and some have vast orchid collections. They grow indoors, outdoors and on trees in the back yard or patio. No matter your level of expertise, you will find a kindred orchid lover in our friendly society.
